1926 Arrived in Fairbanks to fly for the Fairbanks Airplane Company
1927 Participated as a pilot in the Wilkins Polar Expedition
1928 First to fly over the southern polar continent
1929 Lead the search and found the Eielson crash site
1931 Delivered 280,000 units of Diptheria serum to the Arctic Coast saving the villages from the plague
1932 Made the first landing on Mt. McKinley
1933 Helped Wiley Post complete the first solo flight around the world
1934 Flew to Siberia to help launch the first around the world airmail flight
1935 Flew to Barrow with Rob Gleason to retrieve the bodies of Wiley Post and Will Rogers
1949 Died suddenly in Seattle at the age of 45
